    Good to hear from you.

I am 5'11'. In stock form i had plenty of head room without a helmet and it was tight but still ok with a helmet. As to the factory roll hoops with a helmet i was a little over it but not much. With the bride seats, low rails, and aftermarket 4 point rollbar everything is just that much better. I must have 4-6" of clearance if i were to roll. I can put my seat all the way back and feel very safe in my car with a harness. It would be very hard to hit my head in an accident and that is more if you have a cage anyway. I would feel very comfortable in recommending my setup for street use. Definitely... the buckets remove a lot of movement that might put you closer to the bar in certain situations.

The s2000 is such a killer car in so many ways. Sure it is not the fastest out there or the more powerful but it is incredibly balanced and simply put one of the best drivers cars out there. Not sure if you are coming to the may 4th event but you are more than welcome to test drive my car. If not we can meet sometime for you to test drive it as many people it seems simply do not like the experience, how i do not know.

feel free to email me :

    Hey Ian,
This is Joe, the driver of the black golf from the Speedway Stratotech events. I've been considering getting a rwd car for daily driving and track use, and I think s2000 might be a good choice.

The main thing that concerns me is safety of the car on and off the track. I need a roll bar for several events (solosprint in Calgary).

-How tall are you and how much clearance do you have between your helmet and the top of the roll bar?
-Are you able to move your seat far back enough with the roll bar in place to safely operate the car. ---Do you feel safe in your car?
-For street use, are you scared your head will hit the roll bar in an accident (eg: being rear ended)
-Do you find the bucket seats you have isolate your head somewhat from the roll bar?

    Thanks for your time Ian.

    Really appreciate your help!
