Thanks! A Canon XTi and a 70-200mm f/2.8 (sometimes with a 1.4x extender on it, sometimes not)

Awesome pics, too bad not more photographers out there taking shots when they're not driving.

I'd take pictures too... but the only camera I have is on my phone.

i have some pictures but my gf took them and they are horrible. I could have got a better picture if i put the camera on timer and ran over it on the track.

She must have a decent camera if she's looking for a lens. Is it a composition thing or a techinal issue?

I can spend 5 minutes with her and get some decent settings on the camera and if it's a 'what to shoot' challenge, point her to... http://www.kenrockwell.com/tech/howto.htm

My favorite takeaway from this article is that taking great pictures has nothing to do with your camera. Care deeply about what you're shooting.

its not a technical issue, i used the camera for a few thing, mounted the camera in the car when i drag raced. She just doesnt know the modes and when to take the picture or even hold it steady when recording videos
