I've actually always run factory manual steering on this car. I'll be sticking with that setup for steering. Despite that I will be running hydroboost brakes. I've got a Turn One pump through TPC that I will use to just run the brakes. I'm waiting on the rest of the hydroboost kit at the moment, the modified Ford hydroboost unit and the firewall adapter, the lines to and from the pump, and the adapter to run it with the 951 master. We'll see how it goes, it's the one thing I'm slightly unsure about.

Oh, I'd assumed the car had a PS rack. I installed a dual master manual (Wilwood/Tilton) setup but of course I haven't been able to try it out yet. The brake system you're doing seems like a common choice, I bet it will work out well for you.

I have hydraboost in my car. After speaking with Scott at Renegade Hybrids ( who is also a porsche driving instructor ) his take is he doesn't like the hydraboost for a track car. Inconsistent pedal feel is his reason why. So I have bought a tilton setup ( also for better pedal placement for heel toe ). I have not installed it yet and I wanted to simplify my system anyways. I have a mountain of parts to install on my car, parts have been sitting 2 years now

There is so much feedback both negative and positive on both manual and hydroboost setups, wasn't really sure which way to go. I figured I'd jump in. There wasn't a lot of examples of hydroboost running only brakes and not steering as well, so we'll see how it goes. Worst case I make changes later on.

Did some test fitting of the new clutch master cylinder, just fits!
Old vs New
Tight Fit

A little 944 Turbo detail, found a silicone cap to plug the extra port on the coolant expansion tank. The normally aspirated tank only has the one port, but I can save a few dollars by reusing my turbo version for now.
Mounted the starter.
Re-test fit of the clutch master! Some advice from the 944 swap crew that the hydroboost will fit better if the supply for the clutch master is on the far side.

Installed the flywheel. Was going to do the bellhousing too and realized I don't have bellhousing bolts. Old age must be setting in.

Interesting. Is that coil bracket designed to mount there? I've never seen that before. Will you need to modify the harness to extend the coil wiring to that location?
I don't think I have a pic of it, but I'm using a tilton multi-chamber reservoir that mounts in the center of the firewall above the intake. Plenty of room over there.
