Event Info: The Alberta Solo Association is hosting Event #8 of the autoslalom calendar at Castrol Raceway, Thurs. Sept. 11 (to make up for the cancelled Aug. 26 event). This will be a competitive timed event and drivers will get a minimum of four official timed runs. It will count towards points in the 2014 ASA Championship.

[b]When:[b] Thurs. Sept. 11 @ 16:45.
  • Registration/Tech opens at 16:45 and closes at 17:45 sharp.
  • Driver's meeting 18:00
  • First car out around 18:10
  • Cleanup & leave venue by 22:00hrs

Where: Castrol Raceway
  • Highway 19 & Highway 2 (2 kms West); Nisku; Alberta; Canada
  • GPS Coordinates: 53.3374847N 113.5330582W
  • EXIT No. (Coming from HWY 2): 525
  • Use SOUTH Drag Pit entry gate, drive past staging lanes & pro pits. Enter the course from pit-out.
  • Everyone entering will sign waiver & receive "pit pass" wrist band
  • Participant Parking will be on the straight on the east short course, and the competitive area will be located on the west short course.

Cost: $60 for ASA or ASN affiliated members, $70 for non members (includes the cost of a day membership). There is an additional $10 Surcharge for walkup registrations! Save yourself $10, save us some headache, and pre-register!

  • Registration opens on Aug. 26 @ 23:00hrs
  • Registration closes on Sept. 10 @ 20:00hrs

Other Requirements: You need to supply your own mechanically sound car. Helmets are required, but for drivers who don't have their own, club helmets are available for loan. Helmets can be open or closed face and need to be Snell approved. Certification of Snell 2000 or newer required and of type M,SA, or K. You must complete a Self-tech inspection of your car, the form is available at please print & fill it out.
