I just found a solution to my window glass dilemma. I will be driving my Spec Miata to the track and couldn't figure out what to do with the door glass to and from the races until I came across 4 hooks on Miatacage.com that hold the glass in when you need the glass in and allows you to remove all the mechanisms in the door to allow the rollcage installation. Genius, as I was going to make pins or bolts with rubber hose over it to do the same thing and have it bolt in. These are ideal and cheap allowing me to focus time on actually building the car.

Here's an odd question. How do I go about selecting a car number and who do I talk to about that.

get your road race license and you select the number you want to run when you do that.

Or just talk to Gail. I did last year and made my claim to a number.

There is actually a WCMA form to apply for a Race Car Number it can be found at:

http://www.wcma.ca/Forms/Competition...orm%202011.pdf

Complete the form and Email to Gail Terner.

Those window glass hooks look neat may have to pick up some. I currently use bolts thru the glass.

I'd feel stupid buying it, not having a Spec Miata, or any Miata...

Though a friend is making me a tempting parts package on his...
