All cars with the appropriate safety equipment and licensed drivers with sufficient experience are welcome.
What is the car?

Default Fair race? 2012 NASCC Invitational

Once again the GTP close wheels race is the best over this weekend (IMO)! Great job everyone, I certainly have lots of fun watching it.

But how come a turbo charged Miata can compete against NA in the same class GTP4?

Should it belongs to GTP3 or higher?

Does NASCC change the regulations?

Fair race no more?

This red Miata ends up winning the GTP4 class this weekend.

I feel bad for the other racers.

Hope someone from NASCC can answer this question!

Glad you enjoyed the race.

The classifications are done on power to weight. The red Miata wasn't near the top of the power to weight classification in GTP4 and therefore wasn't moved. If you bothered to notice there was also a super charged cobalt, numerous street ported 12a rotary powered RX7s, and a few other quick cars in the class. We spend an enormous amount of time trying to make sure the classifications are done in a fair and balanced manner.

If you have further concerns I invite you to attend a club meeting and discuss the matter.

As always, my highlight of the weekend. Great show everyone and kudos to all of those behind the scenes. I was in GS 11 along with a ton of other people, quite happy at how many hung around. Photos to come tonight.

Glad you enjoyed it. Was good seeing you in the pits on whatever day that was.

Looking forward to pics!
