Ustream Club Meetings?

For those unable to attend meetings or for those who are from way out of town like me, is there a chance the club could try to Ustream broadcast its regular club meetings?

I understand that there is also a live comment function available so that out of towners can make the occasional comment to contribute to discussions. The comment stream can be moderated at source to punt any inappropriate contributors or even non club members.

I'd be willing to try it. I could put my phone on a tripod and broadcast the meeting via Ustream (or Periscope or Meerkat...). Might need another connected device to monitor the comments.

I actually really agree with this idea. I might not watch every meeting but I would definitely watch some. Since I moved to Calgary I feel very disconnected, but as the NASCC runs the road racing I want to participate in, I feel I should pay my dues to it rather than the CSCC.

You'll notice I said "want to participate in"... because only completing 2 laps in a whole year doesn't count. Haha
